And Then There Were Three

So, after a couple of months of having a “placeholder” holding the District 1 spot, the Democrats have nominated an Enfield firefighter, Tom Barry. I don’t know Tom, but having the backing of the fire department is pretty significant.

That said, the timing appears to be somewhat suspect. My guess is that some in the Democrat party in Enfield figure that Joe Bosco and I will split some votes, thereby giving it to Mr. Barry by default. I hope this is not the case, but knowing how politics operates in Enfield, one can only wonder.
